A two-day enterprise and leadership event for students from underrepresented groups. After several initial knockbacks, I successfully pitched for funding to run the event from the Students’ Union, ran a successful marketing campaign, planned the full two-day itinerary, and secured volunteers from both inside and outside the university to participate. There proved to be a huge demand for the event, with tickets selling out in just one day!
I worked alongside with the University of Sheffield Enterprise, to plan the logistics and the marketing for the event. We worked together on the days of the event and made it into a success.
Even thought the event was conceived and developed by a student, University of Sheffield Enterprise has decided to make this event into one of their regular events.
